To all the people who overanalyzed this joke and think it doesn't "work": Cloud & co. should have at least TRIED to revive her with a phoenix down, etc. Just because it didn't work in FFV's world doesn't mean it wouldn't work on Gaia (they're different worlds, ppl). And it's just a joke. Relax! Plus, we all know Cloud is really gay for Sephiroth anyway 🤣
