Want to try out the Co-Op, curious about that "Carver sees hallucinations but Issac sees nothing but his teammate spazzing out." Play once as Issac, then try it as Carver.

Actually, it's almost exactly alike. Only difference is the character. You still get the same story, see the same stuff, not all that different.

Cept, y'know, extra missions and violent hallucinations that only one player sees, plus some extra/altered dialogue. Different enough.

Very true, but multiplayer emphasized the hallucinations aspect which was fun. Kinda want to play from Isaac's perspective after seeing and hearing what Carver went through.
